About Me.
Background
Born at a rural Himalayan village of Sankhuwasabha (Home of Makalu and Neighbor to Everest), my parents ran a small tea house with a lodge where I grew up with trekkers and mountaineers. My father was a local politician and the chairman of Village Development Committee.
In 1997 our village caught on fire and we lost our house, my family migrated to Hong Kong while I moved to Kathmandu for higher education. I grew a strong passion on computers specially gaming and music production. I freelanced as a computer technician for various recording studios and produced music. With the invention of DV (Digital Video) cameras I was fascinated by video editing then got to work on few music videos, short films and documentaries. I graduated in films and started my multimedia production studio where I worked with various institutions, INGOs and companies.
Later we merged with Partynepal.com a media and event management company popular among youths for its events, concerts and website. I became the Chairman and CEO of the company in 2011 that made me drop the filmmaking career however I was determined to do a film competition in Everest and founded World Vlog Challenge in 2020.
Social Initiatives
I joined Durbarmarg Development Board, a community organization. As a project chief, my primary mission was to install solar street lights as this was about Nepal's reputation. Durbarmarg, a high end tourist street and face of the nation was under darkness with over 18 hours of load shedding. We went to all the concerned ministries, departments and city office for help however we got only promises for 4 years. In 2015, we proposed government for a private-public partnership and the authorities gave permission to install solar lights on our own cost while we were allowed to put an advertisement board to cover the installation and operation cost. This was the first solar street light in the nation and a great PPP initiative.
I was very active on clothing bank as it was in the memory of my childhood where people donated clothes after we lost our house on fire. Clothing Bank Nepal is a platform where kind hearts donate and volunteers distribute to needy. Every winter we distribute clothes in rural villages of Nepal.
Politics
After few years gap, I joined my Masters in communication and Journalism, where my passion on politics took a rebirth. Nepal was in a transition after a decade long maoist revolution, consensus on a New Constitution was a challenge. I along with friends hosted various campaigns, rallies and programs to bring awareness among the youths, specially about the election system for stability, representation of geography and population; federal and development zones.
As I joined my PhD, I grew more interest in Political philosophies and theories. I strongly believe finding the root of the problem is the first step to solution; I determined the first problem to our nation is orthodox economic policy. In 2022, I ran for the election of federal parliament as an Independent candidate with a vision of "Atmanirbhar Nepal", I was placed 5th among the 32* contestants (first among the independents). Despite being last one to announce the candidacy, I was able to get the highest airtime on national televisions more than any of the former prime ministers or party chiefs. I believe, I was able to represent the people's voice for economic reform. "Atmanirbhar Nepal" campaign will be our priority and we will continue the mission.
EVENTS
I started my career from small events promoting artists, products and brands. After years of experience in Events and knowledge in filmmaking, we were able to win the trust of Multi National companies, INGOs and managed events across Nepal. We were among the largest event management companies in Nepal before COVID.
world vlog challenge

Hospitality
Founder of Octave Lounge and Bar, a restaurant and an event venue located at Mahendra Shalik, Durbarmarg since 2016. Popular among youths, octave has been a great venture for me as we are able to support humans and animals. We supply excess fresh bones to dog shelters/volunteers. Every time you eat at Octave you feed the dogs at shelter/streets too.
We hosted "Sushi for Cause" in partnership with various public figures to support various causes and organizations.
(Our social initiatives are considerably low after COVID and economic recession)
